The control lever allows you to turn it off from time to time, which also helps to clean the inside. That way, it never clogs and the water always runs free. If you need to, you can simply put the control lever in the "OFF" position and rainwater will run down the drain as normal, stopping any risk of frozen pipes.

ABS stands for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Plastic, which is an ideal material for surface quality and colourfastness. ABS is a two-phase polymer blend. The styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN) gives the materials rigidity, hardness and heat resistance. The toughness of ABS is the result of sub-microscopically fine polybutadiene rubber particles uniformly distributed in the SAN matrix. Got all that?
